New Books

We’ve added a few books to our New Michigan books section: “Michigan Civil War,” "Michigan Ghost Stories,” and a couple of new "Michigan Chillers" for the kids.

We have enlarged our sections of Used Michigan books and Chicago books and have added a Midwest Section and a Great Lakes section.

We always carry the "Trilogy of the History of South Haven" written by Bea Kraus, South Haven summer resident, as well as R. W. Appleyard’s "Photographic Memories: South Haven, Michigan".

The "Yellow-Lighted Bookshop", by Lewis Buzbee, continues to be one of Pam’s picks for a new book.  It is a bibliophile’s memoir and is a delightful read for anyone who  loves books and spending time in book stores.  “I’ve gotten emails from folks telling me how much they enjoyed this book,” Pam says.  “Three people, that I know of, have chosen the book for their book clubs to read.”

We have selected a few Popular Young Adult Books to add to our new books.  These are books we are seldom, if ever, able to purchase used.

For all our maritime customers, we regularly carry "Shipwrecks of the Great Lakes," by Paul Hancock. This coffee-table-size book includes "The tales of over a hundred of the most famous shipwrecks on North Ameriaca's Great Lakes, including the Edmund Fitzgerald." It is illustrated with archival photography.
